Life in general has some significant changes in store for those who are graduating high school and transitioning into young adulthood. Indian Springs invests in Young Adults by giving them a place to connect to a gospel-centered community of people who share common interests and similar challenges whether it be the rigors of college life, entering the workforce, marriage, and becoming a family. During these transitional points in life, we believe it is imperative to offer young adults a solid foundation for them as they continue to grow spiritually. This stabile foundation will give them a basis for healthy personal and family spiritual development.
We pursue and live out gospel-centered community through LifeGroups. Made up of men and women from college aged to those who are married with young children. These groups meet every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. for fellowship, care, prayer, accountability, sharing stories and studying God’s Word. They’re a place where we work to consider each other over ourselves. No group is perfect, and no two groups are exactly the same. We don’t expect them to be. Because people are messy, groups are messy.
We pursue and live out gospel-centered community through Discipleship Small Groups. These groups give men and women a place to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We meet every Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., here on the church campus. Discipleship Small Groups are focused on equipping men and women with the tools and practical disciplines needed to grow into disciple-making disciples of Christ.
Part of being a gospel-centered Young Adult ministry is creating opportunities for them to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. Whether we are assisting a neighbor with yardwork or going on short-term mission trips to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those outside of our community, we want young adults to have the opportunity to not just be a disciple but to make disciples of those God places in their path.
