Our ministry with adults is focused on gospel-centered multiplication. We believe disciples of Christ are most effective when they are both growing as disciples in their personal, devotional lives as well as helping others become personal disciples of Christ, too. Our Adult LifeGroups, Life Small Groups, and Service ministries are the tools that assist adults as they grow spiritually while they connect with those around them in a gospel-centered community setting.
Life in general has some significant changes in store for those who are graduating high school and transitioning into young adulthood. Indian Springs invests in Young Adults by giving them a place to connect to a gospel-centered community of people who share common interests and similar challenges whether it be the rigors of college life, entering the workforce, marriage, and becoming a family. During these transitional points in life, we believe it is imperative to offer young adults a solid foundation for them as they continue to grow spiritually. This stabile foundation will give them a basis for healthy personal and family spiritual development.
Whether you are entering the adolescent parenting years or you find yourself as an empty nester or somewhere in between, Indian Springs has a place for you to connect to a gospel-centered community. LifeGroups and DLife Small Groups give you opportunities to build lasting friendships with others as you come together to grow deeper in your faith as disciples. Many of the service ministries here at Indian Springs are sponsored and staffed by LifeGroups, allowing us to not only learn and grow together but we have opportunities to serve alongside one another as well.
We believe everyone is placed in the church body of Indian Springs for a significance purpose, and that includes our Senior Adults. Our Senior Adults are actively involved in every aspect of church life, service ministries, and mission support. There are plenty of connection points with the Senior Adult ministry. We have several LifeGroup options to choose from that meet every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Also, Gail Baxley leads several discipleship small groups throughout the year to assist you in your spiritual growth as a follower of Jesus Christ. Beyond the fellowship and learning opportunities, there are numerous opportunities to take an active role in sharing the gospel through service ministries, mission trips, and missions support efforts. For more information, contact Gail Baxley. She would love to assist you in getting connected to the ISBC Senior Adult ministry.
Part of being a gospel-centered Adult ministry is creating opportunities for them to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. Whether we are assisting a neighbor with yardwork or going on short-term mission trips to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those outside of our community, we want adults to have the opportunity to not just be a disciple but to make disciples of those God places in their path.
